Geraldine Pender Watson, 82, passed away Friday, January 1, 2016. She was born November 4, 1933 to the late Troy and Cora Pender. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Eddie Watson; six brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her son, Cleveland "Gene" Watson (Marlene); daughter, Linda "L.P." Pridgen (Greg); ix grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

Services were held Monday, January 4, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. David Taylor officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oak View Baptist Church 2412 Arlington St. Rocky Mount, NC 27801.
