James Harold Bryant, age 91, of Battleboro, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016. Born in Pitt County, on October 8, 1924, he was the son of the late Wiley Bryant and Lula Brown Bryant. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Ginger Ann Bunch; his sister, Margaret Spooner; and his brothers, Virgil Bryant and Coy Bryant.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Briley Bryant, his daughter, Joan Inscoe and her husband, Keith, of Wilson; his sons, James Harold Bryant, Jr., and his wife, Reenea, of Greensboro; Larry Douglas Bryant, and his wife, Patricia, of Battleboro; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Shirley Bryant Bailey and her husband, Troy, of Wilson.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Battleboro Cemetery with Rev. Billy Crabtree officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
