Minnie Virginia Wilhalf Munden

Minnie Virginia Wilhalf Munden ,101, of Rocky Mount, passed away on January 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joshua Warren Munden, Jr.; sister, Sarah Wilhalf Culpepper; brothers, William Hal Wilhalf, Charles Edward Wilhalf, Jr. and Donald Cooper Wilhalf; step-daughter, Bettie Jane Munden Tulloss and step-son, Joshua Warrren Munden, III.

Minnie was born in New Bern on February 19, 1914, the daughter of Charles Edward and Maggie Morning Wilhalf.

She is survived by her step-daughter Miriam ''Mimi'' Munden Quick and husband Craig of Greenville; step-daughter-in-law Ann Bass Munden, of Rocky Mount; step-son-in-law Augustus ''Gus'' Harrison Tulloss of Rocky Mount, and his fiance Nancy Williamson of Goldsboro; six step-grandchildren; and several step-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Frances Wilhalf and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd at 3 pm at Pineview Cemetery in Rocky Mount. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at 1505 Jeremy Lane, Rocky Mount.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Minnie's memory may be made to First United Methodist Church, 100 S. Church Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or to the charity of one's choice.
