Darnella "Dot" Baker Williams

Darnella "Dot" Baker Williams, 85, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016. She was born in Nash County, October 10, 1930 to the late Claude Wright and Tollie Mae Batchelor Baker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Nellie Saunders, Viola Carter and Ruth Williamson; brothers, Carl, Cecil, Ned and Tom Baker.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Earl Williams; son, Thomas Earl Williams, Jr. and his wife, Tonya; daughters, Claudia May Williams and Darlene Joy Williams; five grandchildren; and a brother, Billy Baker.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Old Wilson Road Church of God with Rev. Tony Bossolono and Pastor Jim Bell officiating. A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Randolph County 416 Vision Dr. Asheboro, NC 27203 www.hospiceofrandolph.org.
