Pattie Marie Barnes Weaver, age 83, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Born in Nash County on January 17, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Sidney Lester Barnes and Maggie Thornell Barnes.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Johnnie Elbert Weaver; daughter, Dale W. Flood and husband, Don; son, Steve Allen Weaver; daughter, Betty W. Satterwhite and husband, Chuck; seven grandchildren; three great grandsons; one unborn great granddaughter; two half-sisters, Jean Smith, Mae Smith and husband Coy, two half-brothers, Sidney Barnes and wife Gloria and Roger Barnes; three sisters-in-law, Lettie Weaver, Florene Weaver, two brothers-in-law Bobby Lee Weaver and Paul Weaver and wife, Helen.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Proctor Sr. and Rev. Paul Weaver officiating. Burial to follow at Mill Branch Cemetery.
