Burnette Anistead, 65, of Whitakers, died on Thursday, August 4, 2016.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister with Rev. Andrew West officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Anistead; three daughters, Beulah Hines, Jessica Anistead and Joanna Anistead, all of Whitakers; two sons, Burnette Anistead, Jr. and Patrick Anistead, both of Whitakers; mother, Lula Anistead, of Whitakers; five sisters, Geraldine Martin, Ethelean Coley, Beulah Bobbitt, Jeanette Bryant and Gloria Williams and her husband, John, all of Whitakers; two brothers, Amos Anistead and Thomas Anistead, both of Whitakers; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
