Shelby Williams Sewell, age 78, passed away September 3, 2016. Born in Yadkin County on December 20, l937, she was the daughter of Clifford Paul and Grace Robbins Williams of Yadkin County.
She is survived by her brother Tom Williams (Deanna) of Winston Salem, her son Joey (Tanya) of Myrtle Beach, her daughter Pam Valentine, Larry Valentine, of Charlotte and Jenni Johnson (Jeff) of Dunn; seven grandchildren.
Services will be held Sunday, September 11 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 200 S. Church Street, Rocky Mount. Visitation will be held in the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church following the Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made to the children's ministry at First Baptist Church, Rocky Mount.
