Fred Wilkins Sullivan, 70, passed away, Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He was born November 25, 1946 in Edgecombe County to the late Joel Wilkins and Catherine Paris Sullivan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; brother-in-law, Chris Hardy.

He is survived by his wife, Ava Carol Sullivan; two daughters, Elizabeth Sullivan Sutton (Stephen) and Martha Louise Bartell ( Michael); one sister, Kathleen "Kathy" Sullivan Hardy; four grandchildren; two nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Porter officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
