Earnest "Dirty Red" Richardson

Earnest "Dirty Red" Richardson, 78, of Castalia, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017.

Visitation is Friday, March 31, from 3-7 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg. Services will be held Saturday, April 1, at 1 p.m. from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Hollister. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. The Rev. Linda Taybron will officiate.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Richardson; daughters, Dianne Monreo (Ronald) of Youngsville, Sandy Richardson-Hicks (Vernon) of Louisburg, Jeannette Richardson of Youngsville, Lynnette Richardson of Bunn; son, Harvey Richardson (Cora) of Louisburg; sisters, Barbara Walker and Ruby Richardson (Ollie), all of Louisburg; brothers, Elmore Richardson, Jr. of Tenton, NJ, James Artis "Genasha" Richardson (Jean) of Castalia, Rev. Willie Gray Richardson (Donna) of Wendell; six grandchidren; one great-grandchild.
