Edwin Lisk Everette, age 90, passed away on March 31, 2017. Born in Nash County on January 31, 1927, he was the son of the late Percy Lee Everette, and Ella Belle Green Everette. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Jean Satterwhite Everette, his daughter, Rebecca Tolbert Smith, his brothers Beal Green Everette and Kirby Lee Everette, nephew Robert Michael Everette, and niece Nelda Everette.

He is survived by his son Edwin Lisk Everette Jr. and wife Marlene of the Salem Community; daughter Beverly Everette Batton and husband Henry of Hampstead, NC; and Bryan Watson Everette of Nashville; three grandchildren; one great-grandaughter; brother Ray Everette and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service from 2 - 3:30 p.m.
