Maryanne Costello Sprague, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Born in Nassau County, NY on March 22, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph Costello and Mildred Dwyer Costello.
She is survived by her husband, John R. Sprague, Jr.; children, Kelly Anne Vitale and husband, Michael, John R. Sprague, III and wife, Stephanie, Thomas Sprague and wife, Victoria; six grandchildren; siblings, Thomas Costello and wife, Diane; Jean Geneva and husband, Salvatore; Nancy Vetrano and husband, Salvatore; Susanne Lindley and husband, David; and Linda Gillan and husband, Kevin; 14 nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass was held Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Rocky Mount with Rev. Richard Turner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
