Lucille "Lucy" Bass Boykin

Lucille "Lucy" Bass Boykin, 85, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 201.

Lucy was born in Rocky Mount on February 6, 1932 to Simon and Annie Bass. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Monroe Boykin; siblings, Hubert Parker , Simon Bass, R. L. Bass, Luther Perry Bass, Tempie Lewis and Joe Bass.

She is survived by her daughter, Vivian Wrights (Lonnie) of Clemmons, NC; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Frances Shearin, Judy Turner, Mildred Wester, and Sam Bass.

Srvices will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at Lewisville Baptist Church, Lewisville, NC 6 - 8 p.m. A visitation will be held at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville with the funeral service following at 3 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor George Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Spring Hope.
