Jamie Ruth Strickland Brannan, age 83, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. Ruth was born on July 6, 1933 in Nash County and was the daughter of the late Elisha Rubin Strickland and Vera Lee Holloman Strickland.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Johnnie Raymond Brannan, Sr., of the home; a daughter Diane Brannan Baines; and her son, Johnnie Brannan, Jr.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the family cemetery, Eddie T. Brannan Cemetery, Tom Matthews Road, Nashville,.
