Fannie "Jean" Eason Brantley

Fannie "Jean" Eason Brantley, age 74, of Nashville, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Born in Edgecombe County on December 2, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William Jasper Eason and Lillian Moore Eason. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Randolph Eason and sister, Margie Crumpler.

She is survived by her husband, Dolphus "Ray" Brantley; children, Sharri Vick; James Joyner; Jennifer Moore and husband, Keith; Sherry Joyner; Sandra Edwards; and Amy Tant; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Eason; sisters, Rosa Roberts; Dorothy Barnes.

Services were held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Jimmy Carpenter officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
