James Louis Harris

James Louis Harris, 88, passed away August 21, 2017. He was born in Colorado on June 8, 1929 to the late William R. and Josephine L. Needles Harris. Mr. Harris was a gunsmith, a pilot, and a mason.

He is survived by his son Robert J. Dees and wife, Carol; daughters Linda H. Burlington, Laurelle H. Medeiros and husband Paul, Deborah D. Hilhorst and husband Donald; six grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 1, 2017 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Church with Pastor Tim Sauls officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, International Headquarters, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
