Cathy Weeks Dennis died on Monday, October 9, 2017.

Cathy was born on February 4, 1951, in Edenton to the late James W. Weeks and Clara Bryan Weeks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Dennis of Castalia; son, Thomas Paul Dennis II of Castalia; and brother, David Ashley Weeks of Red Oak.

Cathy is survived by her sons, Robert Preston Dennis, Gaston, N.C. and James Patrick Dennis and his wife Lori, of Goldsboro; daughter, Amelia Dennis Pugsley and husband Troy, Red Oak; three grandchildren; a brother, James Michael Weeks and wife Carol of Zebulon .; a sister, Olivia Leigh Weeks, Buies Creek; two nieces; one nephew.

Services will be held Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation with the family will follow the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
