William Curtis "Bro" Mills, 70, of Whitakers, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at St. Gideon Baptist Church in Hollister with the Rev. Hielly Rudd officiating. Burial will follow in the Mills-Avent Cemetery.

Survivors include his spouse, Luejane Mills, of the home; three daughters, Samantha Avent, and her husband, James, of Whitakers, Letonia Reed and her husband, Kenneth, of Hollister and Christy Mills of the home; three sons, William Mills, Jr., of Enfield and Justin Mills and Luvles Mills, both of the home; sisters Lorraine Boone and her husband, Williams, of Whitakers; three brothers, Charlie Mills and his wife, Velma, Melvin Mills and his wife, Shirley and Ricky Mills and his wife, Maggie, all of Whitakers; and nine grandchildren.
