Mary (Addlee) Johnson, 88, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017. She was born in Nash County to the late Julius Caesar Johnson and Mary Bone Johnson. Addlee loved her family, crocheting, housekeeping, working in her yard using her wheelbarrow and laughing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Hubert A. Johnson and two sisters, Elsie J. Sherrod and Lessie J. Taylor.
She is survived by a nephew, Jerome Johnson and wife Nancy and his children; a brother, William Samuel; a sister, Eula Belle Medlin and several other nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Committal service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery.
