Heather Lee Drake, age 32, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Born in Wilson County on November 27, 1985, she was the daughter of Clarence B. Drake, Jr. and Rose Moore. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence B. Drake, Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Jason Stotesberry and Johnny Joe Stotesberry, Jr.; daughter, Shannon Marie Stotesberry; mother, Rose Moore and step-father, James Weatherly, Sr. of Sharpsburg. She is also survived by step-brother, James Weatherly, Jr. of Elizabeth City; uncle, Michael Moore of Rocky Mount; maternal grandparents, Lee and Lois Moore of Sharpsburg; and boyfriend, Bryan Payne of Castalia.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Visitation with the family will be from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
