Pearl May Settlemyre

Pearl May Settlemyre, age 84, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Born in Durham County on September 10, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Luke Richmond May and Pearl Hogan May. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Shelley; and sisters, Mildred Fulton Ennis and Virginia Lunsford.

She is survived by her son, Steven Settlemyre and wife, Sarah, of Raleigh; two grandchildren; as well as her nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Rocky Mount with the Father George Greer officiating. A visitation will follow the service in the Commons Area of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 301 S. Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 or Meals on Wheels, 1501 Sunset Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
