Rev. Douglas MacArthur, 68, of Aiken, SC and formerly of Rocky Mount, died on Sunday, March 18, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. Burial followed in Philadelphia Church Cemetery.

He is survived by two daughters, Sherri Moss of the home, Kimberly Alston of Dunn; two sons, Drexel L. Horne of Raleigh, and Alexander Mercer of Wilson; a step-mother, Eloise Alston of Raleigh, NC; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
