Shirley Jean Parham Boone, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Born in Nash County on November 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Samuel J. Parham and Estelle Andrews Parham. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Lloyd G. Boone; daughter, Cindy Dominy; brothers, Edward Parham, William Parham; and sisters, Florence Parham Gorham and Mary Parham Denton.
She is survived by her daughter, Maria Boone and serveral nieces and nephews.
Services were held Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Church of the Good Shepherd, Rocky Mount with the Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating. The Inurnment Service followed at the Church's Columbarium.
