Millie Bell Williams Bryan, age 93, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018. Born in Edgecombe County on August 9, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Ernest Williams and Ada Batchelor Williams. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Eula Davis and Ella Balance; brothers, Maxville Burt "Mac" Williams, Andrew Jackson Williams, Clayton "Red" Williams, Tom Williams, Ernest King Williams and Russell Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Hedgepeth and husband, Bill, of Rocky Mount; sons, D.R. Bryan and his wife, Fran, of Chapel Hill, Stephen Bryan and his companion Mark Auchter, of Fort Mill, SC; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, April 24, 2018 in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Jeff Hedgepeth and Dr. Robin Fisher officiating. Burial followed the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nash Healthcare Systems Volunteer Services, 2460 Curtis Ellis Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 in Millie's memory.
