George Edward Griffin, 77, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018. He was born in Franklin County on August 1, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents Harrold and Elizabeth House Griffin; three brothers Donald, Larrel and Pee Wee; two sisters Kathy Denton, Margie Jones; and two sons Ricky and Jesse Stallings.

Edward is survived by his wife of 45 years, Daisy Griffin; son Curtis Stallings (Katina); daughters Linda Ennis, Tina Radford (Jimmy), Gina Cummins (Ike), Kathy Nelson (Chris); sisters Betty Jean Outlaw, JoAnn Raper, Brenda Brown; 11 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Gina House officiating. Burial will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
