William Louis Odom, Sr. (Bill), age 84, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Born in Nash County on October 9, 1933, he was the son of the late Margaret Estelle Odom Jordan. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Groves Odom, and son, William Louis Odom, Jr. (Billy).

He is survived by his daughter, Donna J. Odom, Rocky Mount; Larry and Anita Odom, Rocky Mount, Vicki and CB Evans, New Bern, Rhonda and Eddie Woltman, Rocky Mount and numerous cousins.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Keith Griffin officiating. Burial will follow service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. prior to the service in the Atrium of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Edgemont Baptist Church, 1622 West Mount Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
