TEMPIE MANNING BOBROWSKI

TEMPIE MANNING BOBROWSKI (1938-2018), beloved wife of Clamounte R. Bobrowski of Luray, VA . died July 6, at their home in The Villages, FL.

Mrs. Bobrowski was raised in Nash County, NC and worked in Rocky Mount before moving to the Washington, DC area. She worked in the U.S. House of Representatives for a number of years as Chief of Staff to Former Congressman Lamar Gudger (NC); and as Senior Staff to Former Senator Claude Pepper (FL) until his death. She later worked as a Paralegal at a DC law firm. After retirement, Mrs. Bobrowski resided in Luray, VA and The Villages, FL.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bobrowski is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Betty M. Sullivan and her husband Snookie of Nashville, NC; Ms. Joan L. Manning of Carolina Beach, NC; Mrs. Embra M. Pullen and her husband Lee of Dorches, NC; one brother Mr. Ollin H. Manning of Carolina Beach, NC; and one Sister-in-Law Ms. Loleatta M. Manning of Nashville, N.C. She is also survived by many beloved Nieces and Nephews.

Mrs. Bobrowski was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ollin H. Manning, Sr. of Rocky Mount, NC and a brother Johnny A. Manning of Nashville, NC.

Flowers are welcomed or you may make a donation to your favorite charity in her memory.

Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Friday July 13 at the Bradley Funeral Home, Luray, VA. with a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Burial in Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray, Virginia.
