Oscar Lee Turner, age 84, of Nashville, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018. Born in Edgecombe County on October 26, 1933, he was the son of the late Oscar Dean and Leona Turner. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Betty Ruth Medlin Turner.
He is survived by his children, Deborah Pappas and husband, Louis, Libby Turner, John and wife Patti; two grandchildren; and cousins
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial followed at Forest Hills Cemetery in Nashville.
