ROCKY MOUNT - Frances Riddle Gay, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Born in Nash County on November 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gilbert Riddle. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Riddle Gay.

She is survived by her husband of nearly sixty-three years, Mack Lee Gay, Jr.; her daughter, Karen Gay Callaway, and her husband, Joseph Newton Callaway, II, of Winterville; her daughter, Kimberley Gay Agnew, and her husband, Fred Jeffrey Agnew, of Gainesville, GA; her son, Mack Lee Gay, III, and his wife, Kristie Echols Gay, of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.

A graveside service was held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Sam Codington officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Haven Presbyterian Church, 1001 West Haven Boulevard, Rocky Mount NC 27803.
