ROCKY MOUNT - Navada "Toddie" Greene Strickland, 96, passed away September 21, 2018.

Funeral services will be Wednesday September, 26, at 3 p.m. at Spring Hope Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kevin Moore officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Spring Hope Memorial Gardens.

She is survived by her children, Craig Strickland and wife Hilda of Winterville, Maggi Harding and husband Richard of Red Oak, and Bill Strickland and wife Sandra of Kingsland, GA; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters Maybelle Slumpff and Vera (Adolphus) Batchelor.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Carl Craig Strickland in 2015.

Toddie was born on March 8, 1922 in Nash County to Edmond and Tassie Greene and was one of 8 children.
