Walter "Duck" Jones III, age 72 of Rocky Mount passed away on October 5, 2018. Duck was born on April 25,1946, the only child born to the late Walter G. Jones and Clyde Strickland Jones.

Duck is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Gay Jones; one daughter, Deborah Jones Black (Troy); one son, Ivey Jones; two grandchildnre; one niece; one nephew.

Services were held Monday, October 8, 2018 at Westside Church of Christ, Rocky Mount with Mike Hinrichs officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for children, 950 West Farris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
