ROCKY MOUNT - George Ronald Drake, age 74, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018. Born in Nash County on November 16, 1943, he was the son of the late George Ollen Drake and Mary Sue Trevathan Drake. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Drake.
He is survived by his son, Bryan Drake and wife, Teresa, of Magnolia, TX; two grandchildren; sisters, Janice Drake Blanchette and husband, Tom, of Lubbock, TX and Sandra Drake Dunkley of Roxboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
