Willie "Rose" Jones, age 84, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018. Born in Adairsville, GA on March 21, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Robert Benjamin and Annie Julia Shelton Freeman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Jones; three sisters, Mae Maynor, Inez Proctor and Lois White; and one brother, Calvin Freeman.

She is survived by her sons, John H. Smith and Michael E. Jones; three grandsons; sisters, Betty Simmons and Rachel Cabatit.

Services were held Monday, November 12, 2018 at Johnson Funeral Home in Rocky Mount. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
