ROCKY MOUNT - Hilda Faye Hunt Pridgen, age 88, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019. Born in Rocky Mount on August 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late B. R. and Estelle Gardner Hunt. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Robert Linwood Pridgen; sister, Becky Yoho; brother, Craven Hunt; and son-in-law, Tommy Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Jones and Cynthia Moss, both of Sharpsburg, Susan Hodges and husband, Rodney, of Rocky Mount, and Lisa Stone and husband, Robbie, of Middlesex; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 7- 8:30 p.m. at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
