ROCKY MOUNT - Herbert Hoover Williams, age 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Born in Nash County on November 25, 1928, he was the son of the late Joel and Zoma Rose Williams. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judith Rebecca Williams; sisters, Ruth Howell, Grace Peele, Gladys Howell, Cahterin Todd, and Isadore Staton; and brothers, John Henry, J.T. and Donald Williams.

He is survived by his daughter, Belinda Taft and husband, George, of Rocky Mount; one grandson; one great grandson; sister, Virginia Bradley of Rocky Mount and nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday, March 18, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
