DORIS ANN BROOKS
NASHVILLE - Doris Ann Brooks, 71, passed away, Wednesday, July 30, 2008. She was born May 7, 1937 in Nash County. She was the daughter of the late Phillip Henry and Martha Arnold Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Brooks, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include one brother, Richard P. Rogers and wife Zelma of Rocky Mount, three sisters, Margaret Williams and husband Bill of Nashville, Ruth Rogers Arrington and husband Wallace of Florence, SC., Lillian “Boots” Davis of Rocky Mount and many nephews and nieces.

A memorial service was held Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at North Rocky Mount Church of God with the Rev. Jerome Mozingo and Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, 1052 South First Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
