RICHARD JENKINS
ROCKY MOUNT – Richard Atticus Jenkins, 58, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 28, at Proctors Chapel with the Rev. John Woods officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

He was born Jan. 10, 1948, in Savannah, Ga. He was the son of Minnie Mead Jenkins and the late Atticus Braswell Jenkins.

Survivors in addition to his mother of North Augusta, S.C., include his wife, Dorothy Andrews Jenkins of the home; two daughters, Katina Parks and husband Tommy and Robin Mosley and husband Tim, all of Rocky Mount; three sisters, Pam Andrews of Daytona Beach, Fla., Carol Varley of Washington, D.C., and Patricia McKie of North Augusta, S.C.; one brother, Randall Jenkins of North Augusta, S.C.; and four grandsons.
