ROCKY MOUNT – Herman Ashley Bradley, 89, died on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006. A graveside service was held Aug. 12 at Pineview Cemetery with the Rev. Chet Rains officiating.
He was born Dec. 25, 1916 in Edgecombe County, son of the late Charles and Nellie Barnes Bradley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irma Bradley; two sisters, Katie Worsley and Annie Louise Boone; and three brothers, Robert, Norman and Joe Bradley.
Survivors include two daughters, Robin Warren and husband, Errol, and Joy Bradley; a son, Ashley Bradley and wife, Debbie; a sister, Verna Marshburn; five special friends, Pearl Whitehurst, June Atkins, Joan Woodruff, Sherrie Pittman and Darlene Naillon; a very special pet, Toot-A-Loo the cat; and three grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Eastern N.C. Chapter, 400 Oberlin Road, Ste. 220, Raleigh, N.C. 27605-1351.
