MICHELLE ANN SESSOMS
Michelle Ann Sessoms of Rocky Mount, passed away on December 9, 2008. Michelle died at the age of 47 with the disease known to many as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Michelle was survived by her husband John A Sessoms; daughters Elizabeth (Sessoms) Mehalko and husband Joseph Mehalko of Richmond, Va., and Olivia Jane Sessoms and her fiancé Jeremy Akins of Charlotte; son John David Sessoms of Rocky Mount; mother Linnea Owens of Lawrenceburg Tenn, brother Greg Laduca of Chattanooga Tenn, four sisters Jenny Grundy of Fort Erie Ontario, Canada and Megan Montagna of Fort Erie Ontario Canada, Debbie Laduca of Philadelphia Penn. and Kim Hyde; parents-in-law Rev. John T. Sessoms and Olive Sessoms both of Elm City, brother-in-law Philip Sessoms of Raleigh, Gloria Corbett (Luke Corbett) of Knightdale, and Patricia Linton (Vernon Linton) of Wilson.

A celebration was held at Westview Baptist Church on December 12, 2008 (Friday) beginning at 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, and the funeral services was held at 2:00 pm December 13, 2008 (Sat) at Westview Baptist Church followed by a grave side service at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville, NC.

Flowers can be sent to Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home, monetary gifts can be sent to The Friends of Michelle Sessoms Fund Co. of Southern Bank, 224 South Franklin Street, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
