VIOLA BLANCHARD PINKERTON
Viola Blanchard Pinkerton, 63, of Nashville died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006 at Nash General Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1, at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids with the Rev. Butch Lewis officiating.

Pinkerton was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Blanchard and James Blanchard.

Survivors include two daughters, Susan Leonard and husband, Jerry, of Nashville and Lori Dickens of Wilmington; one son, David Dickens and wife, Angie, of Kalamazoo, Mich.; one brother, Frank "Bubba" Blanchard and wife, Martha of Roanoke Rapids; one sister, Lillie Rees of Frenchville, Pa.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her fiance, Danny Bryant of Nashville.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug. 31, from 7-9 p.m. at Hockaday Funeral Home other times at the home of her daughter, 9175 Lee Drive in Spring Hope.
