MURIEL NEWKIRK BATTLE
NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Muriel Newkirk Battle, 83, who died Sunday, November 22, 2009 took place on Saturday Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. at Galatia AME Church. Burial followed the services at Union Hill Church Cemetery.

Surviving: daughter, Natalin Battle of Temple Hills, Md.; son, Deryl Battle of Nashville; sister, Earlene Newkirk of Greensboro; 2 grandchildren. Arrangements by Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
