CLAYTON LEE HARRINGTON
Clayton Lee Harrington, 72, passed away, Tuesday, March 9, 2010. He was born November 24, 1937 in Halifax County. He was the son of the Late Charlie and Ethel Terry Harrington. He was preceded in death by his wife Shelby Jean Harrington, brothers, Linwood Leo and Daniel Redden Harrington.

He is survived by two daughters, Opal Medlin of Nashville,  April Massengill and husband Brad of Middlesex, one son, Clayton Harrington, Jr. of Durham, two-stepsons, Michael Allnutt and wife Stephanie of Middlesex, Josh Harrington of Zebulon, five brothers, Charlie E. Harrington and wife Lou of Tarboro, Dallas Harrington and wife Doris of Tarboro, Hosey Harrington of Rocky Mount, Luther Harrington and wife Jan of Rocky Mount and William Harrington of Sharpsburg, one sister, Ethel Metters and husband Charles of Whitakers, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a special pet C.J.

A funeral service was held Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Visitation followed after services.
