Bobby Gene Pearce, 74, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010. He was born July 29, 1935 in Johnston County. He was preceded in death by his father Rowland and his mother Mildred and his twin brother Billy Pearce.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marie Pearce, one daughter, Angela Ashe and husband David of Rocky Mount, one son Mike Pearce and wife Barbara of Nashville, one brother Benny Pearce and wife Vickie of Cary, one sister Betty Phillips of Kenly and three grandchildren.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 4 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service followed at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dal Coppedge officiating. Entombment will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
