Carson Dale Thorne, 60, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010. He was born January 6, 1950.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Thorne; three sons, Perry Thorne of Greenville, Derek Thorne and wife Shelley of Cary, David Thorne and wife Jennifer of Nashville; four grandchildren; brother Tim Thorne and wife Linda of Spring Hope.
A funeral service was held Friday, July 9, 2010 at 2 p.m., with visitation prior from 12:30 to 2 p.m., in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Don Causey and Rev. Ron Hawley officiating.
Flowers were accepted or contributions may be made to Coopers Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, 2408 Volunteer Road, Elm City, N.C.
