GREENVILLE -Bishop Alfred Michael Dixon, Sr., 54, of Greenville, NC, died on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.
A Visitation for Bishop Dixon was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Friday, August 6, 2010, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Rocky Mount, NC. Funeral services were held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 7, 2010, at Philippi Church of Christ, 3760 Philippi Drive, in Greenville, NC. Apostle James I. Clark Jr. delivered the eulogy. The interment took place immediately following the service in the Homestead Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Greenville, NC.
