Donna Sykes, 49, passed away, Friday, August 20, 2010. She was born July 7, 1961 in Nash County. Donna was preceded in death by her mother, Lorene Swanson Sykes.
She is survived by her father; Paul Sykes of Spring Hope, her daughter; Jesse Sykes of Spring Hope, four sisters; Paulette Griffin and husband, Ga., Gail Moeller and husband Bill, Pam Nunez and husband Raul, all of Spring Hope, and Sandra Walker and husband Buddy of Red Oak as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service was Monday, August 23, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Frankie Carroll officiating. Visitation followed after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Donna’s daughter, Jesse Sykes at PO Box 323, Red Oak, NC 27868.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home and Cremations, 1052 South First Street, Nashville.
