NASHVILLE – Lucille Ballentine Bass, 84, died November 12, 2010.
She was born August 29, 1926, to William Keith Ballentine and Ximena Edwards Ballentine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Bass and three brothers, Billy, Joe and Bruce.
She is survived by daughter, Garnet Bass of Raleigh; son Jim Bass of Raleigh along with his wife Susan Christman and Jim’s daughter, Alexandra Frady of Charlotte; and son Robert Bass of Rocky Mount along with his wife Tamara Woods Bass and their sons, Robbie and Eric.
The funeral was held Tuesday, November 16, at Corinth Baptist Church with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 2883 North N.C. 58, Nashville, NC 27856.
