NASHVILLE - Benjamin Portivent Robinson II, 70, died on November 12, 2010. He was born February 3, 1940 in Hoke County. Benjamin was the son of the late Earl and Elizabeth Tyson Robinson. Benjamin was preceded in death by a brother, Earl H. Robinson, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Virginia Gardner Robinson, one son, Benjamin P. Robinson III of Pamlico Beach, daughters, Donna Gorham of Greensboro, Debbie, Gail, Dawn and Kim, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 7:00-8:30Pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service was Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Wood officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Harvest Baptist Church at 2325 Old Mill Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803.
