Elijah Rufus House, Jr., 55, of Bailey, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 in his home. He was born August 19, 1955 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by father, Elijah Rufus House, Sr.
He is survived by his two sons, Jason House of Petersburg, VA and Eli House of Roanoke, VA; one daughter Belinda House of Nashville; mother, Gretchen Daughtridge of Horton Beach; sisters, Patricia Potter of Benson, and Darlene Edmondson of Benson; brother, Roger House of Youngsville.
The family received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road. Graveside services will be held 11 am Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Pine Forrest Cemetery in Wake Forest. Arrangements are entrusted to Johnson Funerals & Cremations, 661 English Rd, Rocky Mount.
