LORAINE FISHER HEDGEPETH
RED OAK – Loraine Fisher Hedgepeth, 92, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Born December 12, 1918, to the late Samuel Willis Fisher and Lizzie Capps Fisher.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Venoy Hedgepeth; an infant daughter, Margaret Ann Hedgepeth; and siblings, Sallie Fisher, Bud Fisher, Johnny Fisher, Mary F. Dickens, Ora Mae Hedgepeth, Tommy Fisher, and Lewis Fisher.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Lee H. Bass and son-in-law James Sydney; 3 grandchildren;  and 7 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was  held at 3:00 pm Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Red Oak Methodist Church. The family received friends one hour prior to the service. Burial followed at Red Oak Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC.
