Howard Kent Hoggard, 57, passed away Thursday July 12, 2012. He was born February 23, 1955 in Richmond County to the late Barry and Marie Hoggard.

He is survived by his special life partner, Kathy Gillespie of Rocky Mount, one son, Landon Hoggard and wife Shannon of Nashville, one daughter, Amy Ormond and husband Greg of Spring Hope, one brother, Steve Hoggard and wife Susan of Ahoskie, five grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Sunday July 15, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home.
